Your local library has a new name

Your local library has a new name - “Connected Libraries."

In December 2022 when Cardinia libraries left the network we asked the Casey community for their ideas on what to call their library service.

More than 750 responses were received in less than 10 days. Many of those suggestions included the words “connected” or “connect” as part of the library name - so we listened. Connected Libraries is now the name of your local library service and there’s an exciting new brand to go with it.

This new name speaks to much of what we do in libraries – we bring people together, with ideas, with information and inspiration!

From today you will see a new look Connected Libraries website, Winter What’s On Guide and Connected Libraries App. Over the next month or so there will be changes to the look of our printed flyers and signs when you visit our five libraries.

One thing hasn’t changed, our love and passion for great customer service and supporting the Casey community and the new name will not impact library members and the use of the library.

We hope you love the new name Connected Libraries.
