Priority Action Groups - Collective Meeting
Held at Council in late February and attended by 70 participants, the meeting was a chance for each of the GameChange Priority Action Groups to meet up, share ideas and experiences and hear about each of their employment sector projects.

Supported by GameChange, DSJN has over 50 members and represents a broad range of organisations and employers from our community.
Making the Match
Forerunning the GameChange initiative, the City of Greater Dandenong conducted some well received research into the local employment landscape, producing a report in 2021 entitled 'Making the Match'.

For university-trained migrants and people seeking asylum, Victoria's Big Build is offering free employment programs and opportunities.
Free work preparation training
The SMRC Employment Xchange is providing free skills training for jobseekers, including interview practice and connections to employers.
Business plan workshop
'Transcend' is a free Australian Government initiative that helps you turn a business idea or existing small business into a viable business.
Digital skills program
Victoria State Government has introduced a program for upskilling mid-career workers to transition into high-demand jobs in the digital economy. 5,000 places are available.

Supporting Community
Flexible Workplace Models - employer survey
Local, State and Federal government departments are working collectively and collaboratively to bring all stakeholders together to shape a more effective jobs and skills system for all, through our community-led GameChange initiative.
This survey has been devised so that we can understand more about employer staffing needs and those who are successfully implementing new ways of recruiting and retaining staff.
