Hi everyone! October has been an incredible month—and today’s extra special because it’s my birthday! 🎃 Happy Halloween!
This month, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jo Stanley about her exciting new venture, Broad Radio—Australia's first radio network dedicated to amplifying the full diversity of women’s voices. I can't wait to dive into her inspiring journey from the start to where she is now.
It’s also been a milestone month for me, launching When Harri Met Sally: A Photography Podcast with the wonderful Harriet Tarbuck! You can tune in on Spotify and Apple Music for conversations on all things photography.
I’m thrilled to share that I collaborated with Bambra Press on a beautiful 2025 calendar to promote my latest book, Leap into Your Creative Life.

JO STANLEY | RADIO HOST
Jo Stanley shares with us her career story from stand-up comedy beginnings to becoming one of Australia's top radio hosts.
Jo is a performer, writer, podcaster, broadcaster. Since being discovered performing stand-up comedy in a dingy pub sometime in the early 2000’s, she has become loved for her warm and honest brand of content. Her 20 year career in radio included 2 record breaking, number 1 breakfast shows which makes her one of Australia’s most successful radio hosts.
Jo writes a regular column for the Sunday Life Magazine, and is the creator of the Play Like A Girl kids book series. Her podcast credits include A to Be with Mimi Kwa.
Jo has now launched Broad Radio – Australia’s first radio network for women, and a platform that will amplify the full diversity of women’s voices.
Jo is an advocate for gender equality. In support of these issues, she is a patron for Lighthouse Foundation and Wellsprings for Women, and an ambassador for Left Write Hook and Fitted for Work.

Woman’s Weekly Australian of the Year 2024 Nominee
Francis shares with us her photographs of Michelle Turvey for Woman's Weekly who was nominated for Australian of the Year 2024, for her advocacy work for victims of crime and using her lived experience following the death of her son Cassius to train Western Australian Police Force recruits in dealing with victims of crime through empathy and support.
