Your Spring Follow-up Consultation!

Hello ,

As the tender green shoots emerge from the earth and the birds return with their sweet melodies, I find myself filled with gratitude to be reconnecting with you after my nourishing three-month journey through to India and Mexico. There's such comfort in returning to my orderly, clean, and beautiful healing space, ready to support you on your wellness journey once again.

Spring: Nature's Time for Renewal

The spring equinox approaches, bringing with it nature's invitation to cleanse, renew, and realign our bodies with the changing season. During this transitional time, our doshas often become imbalanced—particularly Kapha, which can accumulate during winter and manifest as heaviness, congestion, or lethargy.

This is why I'm reaching out with a gentle reminder that now is the perfect moment for your seasonal follow-up consultation. Together, we can:

  • Fine-tune your personalized food program to harmonize with spring's energies
  • Assess whether herbal supplements might support your body's natural wisdom
  • Design an individualized spring cleansing program suited to your constitution
  • Review and refresh your daily lifestyle practices (dinacharya) for optimal health

Your Body's Wisdom Speaks

I've observed through years of practice that when we properly support digestion, ensure restful sleep, and maintain healthy elimination, our bodies naturally express greater happiness, energy, and vitality. This isn't merely coincidence—it's the beautiful, equal, and inexorable law of cause and effect that Ayurveda so elegantly illuminates.

My approach continues to focus on holistic healing for:

  • Digestive imbalances
  • Menstrual health and conception support
  • Mental and emotional wellbeing
  • Skin conditions
  • Autoimmune challenges
  • Hypertension
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Perimenopause transitions

Spring Ayurveda Wisdom to Begin Now!

A few simple practices to honor spring's energy:

  1. Begin your morning with sipping hot water and chewing a small piece of fresh ginger to help kindle your digestive fire
  2. Favor lighter, cleansing foods like seasonal greens, and lightly spiced dahl soup
  3. Move your body daily, preferably in the morning when Kapha energy is highest—even a gentle 15-minute walk or stretching session helps awakens circulation
  4. Incorporate warming spices like turmeric, cumin and black mustard seeds into your meal preparation to help support digestion and reduce spring dampness
  5. Dry brush your skin before bathing to gently stimulate lymphatic flow and help release accumulated toxins

For those who've commented on the flower photographs in our newsletters, I'm touched by your appreciation. Most were captured on my iPhone 11 during my travels and at home, later enhanced through dear Lena's design expertise. Your loving comments about our messages warm my heart—thank you!

I leave you with this beautiful Sanskrit prayer that guides my practice:

"Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavaintu"
May all beings everywhere be happy and free

This ancient shloka reminds us that:

  • Lokah means "realm, location, all universes existing now"
  • Samastah means "all sentient beings sharing that same location"
  • Sukhino means "free from suffering, centered in happiness and joy"
  • Bhav represents the divine mood or state of unified existence
  • Antu means "it must be so, may it be so"

You can listen to this mantra, write it down, or chant it—including all beings in your concept of "all," from animals and plants to departed ones and even those you might consider 'enemies.' It's a beautiful practice during meditation to encourage universal compassion and peacefulness.

May this message help you, dear one, to live your best healthy outcomes for body, mind, and consciousness.

With warmth and care,
