Cr Karen Pensabene, Mayor of Strathfield

Dear Strathfield residents,

Did you know that Strathfield Council residents have access to a beautiful community garden? The garden is located at Laker Reserve on Elva Street in Strathfield and is filled with a wide variety of plants and plenty of ways to test your green thumb! Council has put the call out for new members to join, for free. Members get access to Garden Education Sessions and a Members-Only BBQ hosted at the garden one Saturday a month. So register now and don’t miss out!

Strathfield’s Community Choir is starting up for 2024 next week! The choir practices on Wednesday nights at the Homebush West Community Centre. Visit the website to register.

Finally, I would like to welcome the 35 new citizens who joined us this week! As always, the Citizenship Ceremony was heartfelt and exciting. I look forward to seeing our newest Australians out and about in Strathfield.

If you need to contact me or have any questions, please do so by emailing me cr.kpensabene@strathfield.nsw.gov.au or ring our office on 9748 9999
