Tess Staines

Where are you from?
Newcastle

How long have you been playing sport?
I’ve been playing sport since I was about 4 years old with Irish dancing!

Why do you love playing cricket?  love I love being able to play a great sport, while being surrounded with some of my best friends. I also really love how mental the game is. You always have to be thinking and adapting, and I always enjoy the challenge of it.

What do you do on your days off?
You can usually find me playing my guitar or catching up with friends and family.

If you could attend any sporting event in the world what would it be?
I recently got into watching a bit of cycling with my dad, so I think following the Tour de France would be amazing!

Describe yourself in three words?
Creative. Kind. Determined.
