There will be several different ways that you can attend: 17th June 3:00 - 4.30pm at CSM - D119 17th June 4.30 - 5.30pm at CSM – D119 or Platform bar (TBC) 18th June 5pm - 6pm ONLINE (Via Teams) 20/21st June at LCF and Chelsea (times TBC) You will receive more information about these events via email and please accept the appropriate Outlook Calendar invite if you plan to attend so we can have an idea of attendees. (the meeting on the 18th will be online and via teams). Information about an ONLINE TUTORS event coming soon. ![]() Onsite risk assessments![]() We have recently reviewed the Risk Assessment processes across all UAL sites and will now be sending out RA documents with each course confirmation. Please read these though and add information when requested to ensure this is a suitable and sufficient Risk Assessment of the material, equipment and activities you have planned for the course. By receiving and returning these risk assessments, you are agreeing to follow their guidance and ensure the necessary information is given to learners as part of their course induction. ![]() Onsite course planning![]() To ensure that we have full information about courses available to our learners and to increase enrolment, we are seeking some more information about the content of each course. This will be used to inform the course description online, but can also be accessed if there are more specific learner enquiries or if we need to find cover for a session or course. If you already have a document that outlines the course content (this may well be something that you give to learners on the first day) please send us a copy. This could be a PDF, Word, Doc, PPT, or Padlet, there is no need to reformat. If you do not already have a document that shows this information you may want to use one of the templates available on the tutor hub. A scheme of work (SOW) is a more detailed version that can support more detailed planning, but a basic plan of what is covered in each session is sufficient. We will request this when your course is confirmed, but as you prepare for summer school please feel free to send these through in advance. ![]() Tutor Hub![]() As ever, please do send suggestions for new content for the tutor hub to a.marlensummers@arts.ac.uk or your coordinator. Check back for updates on the Tutor Hub available online at: https://digitaltutorhub.myblog.arts.ac.uk/ This is your one stop shop for short course tutor information, with links to relevant information on Canvas. ![]() Get in touch with the short courses team![]() Useful contacts for queries:
