NAIDOC 2023
NAIDOC Week 2023 is here. We would like to celebrate our Indigenous members who volunteer their time, saving lives along our beautiful NSW coastline.
This year's theme, For Our Elders, is a celebration of Elders who are key knowledge holders and teachers within Indigenous Culture. We celebrate the work they have done to pave the way for others.
During this week we remind you to take a look at our Indigenous Nations Map and acknowledge the land on which you patrol, train and compete.
ClubsNSW and Surf Life Saving NSW Renew Partnership
Surf Life Saving NSW welcomes the extension of support from long-term major partner ClubsNSW for a further three years, ensuring the success of key surf safety initiatives and member programs.

Surf Life Saving NSW made a huge impression at the 2023 NSW Community Sport Awards, held at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on 29 June, taking out two categories while also seeing a Sydney Northern Beaches member recognised for four decades of passionate service.

Grants & Fundraising
Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
