UAL Short Courses strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students so they can thrive in and out of the classroom. So, we want to thank all our tutors for their efforts their commitment to helping students of all ages and abilities to explore and push the boundaries of creativity. Read on to discover the latest news, events and updates this April. ![]() Student feedback![]() Student feedback plays a critical role in improving teaching and course quality at UAL Short Courses. Did you know that your students can win a prize for submitting feedback after completing their short course? Every month, students are entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher. All they must do is complete the Survey Monkey Feedback form which they will receive once their course has finished. This financial year a total of £600 has been gifted in Amazon e-vouchers. Plus, we have received 1910 survey responses across 357 courses and 654 unique course events. When students were asked what they most enjoyed about the course they said: "I enjoyed the practical work we did but overall how we were given freedom as well as the ability to enhance our creativity." Here are some other comments from our short course students during spring school: "You learn a lot with brilliant teachers" "The teaching was clear, feedback was constructive and the pace was equally challenging and supportive" "The lecturer was excellent. Having someone working in industry is invaluable." We recommend adding this image to a presentation, Padlet or the Online Student Hub as a reminder and either leave it on screen during a break or at the end of the course as well. ![]() Guidance on working abroad![]() ![]() In accordance with the UALSC Guidance on Working Abroad, all UAL Short Course (UALSC) appointments and activity must only take place in the UK (unless otherwise agreed).
