Black History Month

Black History Month Speaker Event
featuring Raymond Santana Jr. 

Thursday, February 27 | 7-9:00 pm | Robsham Theater

This event will feature a 30-minute keynote address from Raymond, followed by a 30-minute moderated Q&A.

Raymond Santana is an author, designer, and activist who partners with the Innocence Project to raise awareness about wrongful convictions and false confessions. Wrongfully convicted at just 14 years old as part of The Central Park Five, he spent seven years in prison before DNA evidence proved their innocence, leading to full exoneration. Their story gained global recognition through the Emmy-nominated Netflix series When They See Us. Today, he is a powerful voice for criminal justice reform, advocating for systemic change, and justice for marginalized communities.
