Our Invisible Cancer Report sparks national conversations Since its launch on World Cancer Day, the Invisible Cancer Report has achieved significant national and regional media coverage. It has been featured by over 40 media outlets, including more than six national newspapers, with coverage across the UK and an estimated reach of 238 million. But the real success wasn’t the numbers — it was the conversations started, understanding shifted, and people telling us they felt seen and heard. One particularly exciting outcome has been how often neuroendocrine cancer is being named and explained in media coverage. For a cancer that is so often misunderstood or overlooked, this visibility is vital, and it will make a real difference to awareness, recognition, and ultimately earlier diagnosis. We’ll continue to build on this momentum. A huge thank you to all of you for sharing the report, please keep sharing and helping us reach even more people. With Rare Disease Day this Saturday 28th, we have another important opportunity to highlight the report and the symptom checklist to remind people that not all rare diseases have rare or unusual symptoms — many are common experiences that deserve to be recognised and taken seriously. My name is Kerie, and I became an ambassador in July 2025, so I am still a newcomer to the team, but I have enjoyed my time so far enormously – not least as part of the media campaign to raise awareness of neuroendocrine cancer on this year’s World Cancer Day by taking part in The Invisible Cancer Report. Help Us To Help OthersOne of the most powerful ways to support our work is by setting up a monthly donation. Regular giving helps us plan ahead, grow our services and provide consistent support to people affected by neuroendocrine cancer when they need it most. As we receive no government or NHS funding, and no funding from larger cancer charities, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community — even a small monthly gift can make a real and lasting difference.
