The Mushroom Murders

We’ve added two new true-crime titles to our shelves, exploring the infamous “mushroom murders” case that has captivated Australia.

Greg Haddock’s new book offers a detailed, investigative look into the events, the people involved, and the unanswered questions that continue to spark national interest.

Alongside it, The Mushroom Tapes provides a gripping, behind-the-scenes account drawn from interviews, media coverage and emerging evidence, giving readers an immersive perspective.

Both books are Top Titles, so drop into the library grab a copy or place a hold online.

The Forum for Truth and Recognition is now open

The Forum is a safe and respectful space where people can share their experiences of child sexual abuse in Victorian schools prior to the year 2000.

The experiences shared with the Forum will contribute to an important public record and help Victoria build a stronger shared understanding of the lifelong impacts of child sexual abuse in schools so we can better prevent and respond to it now and into the future.

How people participate in the Forum is their choice- book a personalised session with Angela Connors, Chair of the Forum or make a written or creative submission.
