Howdy folks

The warm weather is finally here, and while our awesome City lifeguards have been keeping us safe at the beach during the winter months, we’re now welcoming back our Surf Lifesaving volunteers in their iconic ‘Red and Yellow’ to look after us on the weekends too!

This time of year also means the surf club nipper programs are starting up again! So, while the kids are learning how to be safe and confident in the sand and surf, make sure you're extra careful driving near the surf clubs on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Next weekend is the Nobbys Fiesta, and it’s going to be a blast! There’ll be amazing music, entertainment, and food, plus it’s a great chance to support local businesses in the area that have been doing it tough.

Now that we’ve got more daylight and Summer is just around the corner, I hope to see you out and about – whether it’s on the walking paths, at the park, the beach, or the lakes.

Until then, take care and keep staying active and healthy in Division 12!

What’s on in Division 12

"Along with our Active and Healthy programs, there's plenty happening in Division 12 this month."

It is my pleasure to attend the fist event for 2024/25 to help Celebrate 20 years of putting Smiles on Dials on the Gold Coast.

Even though it is not in our division it is a very important event and takes people of all disabilities and all ages out for a surf experience in a safe, fun and friendly enviroment.
