We provide transportation to and from Salt Lake Airport so it's important that you provide us their flight information by completing the Travel Forms. ACT & SAT Prep
Each spring, Wasatch Academy offers 10th and 11th grade students an opportunity to be guided in preparing for the ACT and SAT. This year, there are two options to suit your child’s learning style: online with Revolution Prep and in-person with Brown Reading Systems (BRS). Today we are highlighting the in-person opportunity. Complete information about BRS's program may be found in this letter. Please email Mrs. Austin (mitzi.austin@wasatchacademy.org) by December 15 if you are interested in this option for your student.

Cruz currently holds 9th place in the state in the UHSRA boys' calf cutting event. He took third place last weekend at the UHSRA event here in Mount Pleasant and earned his first belt buckle trophy. Way to ride Cruz!

SUSTAINABILITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHES ETHICS GUIDELINES & A PURPOSEFUL AGENDA
This year's Sustainability Council is very active with an aggressive agenda to accomplish this school year. They will be fundraising to install a new drinking fountain/water station in the Craighead building and completing the construction of a greenhouse including establishing a community garden within. In addition, they intend to present to the Mount Pleasant City Council to improve recycling options both on campus and in the community. The Council's student officers include:

March 1st - 11th, 2024
International students who find traveling home difficult during the break, there is a supervised excursion on a first-come, first-served basis. The total cost for the week is $1,500. Food, lodging, and transportation are included. This adventure includes hiking, horseback riding, canyoneering, climbing, mini-golf, paintball, and more. SPRING College TOURS!
Tentative Dates: April 21st - 24th, 2024
We are excited to offer a college tour in the San Diego area. The student group will tour with Pathways Travel for a trip that will be experiential, educational, and fun. Last year’s trip with Pathways was great! We will tour different types of colleges and universities, from liberal arts to large public research programs. We are considering at least 3 of the following 5 schools: California State University, San Marcos San Diego State University University of California, San Diego University of San Diego Point Loma Nazarene University
The trip is limited to 14 students (10th and 11th graders) at a total cost of $1,700. This includes lodging, ground transportation, food, college tours, and an excursion for fun. It does not include airfare. The deposit of $850 is due by January 15. Payment will be made
through the business office. More information will be available after sign-ups. The remaining balance of $850 (plus the cost of airfare) will be due by February 15th. Please email Ann Stucki or call her at 435-462-1417 to sign-up.
