Please review the reminders and updates below, as well as this email we sent Monday to students, which includes updates on common student issues we've recently resolved, including problems with saved schedules and course section overrides, as well as incorrect registration appointment times. Advising registration holdsRemove students' advising holds, formerly known as electronic registration authorization, or ERA, as required by your school or department.
FAQ: Why can't I remove my advisee’s hold?
Missing or incorrect advisees?
Expected completion datesIn our last email to advisors, we asked you to double check your advisees’ expected completion dates and update them, if needed, due to the way Workday calculates these dates compared to our legacy systems. We asked you to do this now since we knew you’d be meeting with students and reviewing their records as part of registration planning, and that students may ask questions about this date. To clarify, these dates do not affect students’ registration appointments. Registration appointments are based on a student’s matriculation date–when they started at WashU–with adjustments made for transfer students. We’ll share more information on what this date impacts after we get through our first registration in Workday. How to Get HelpQuestions? We’re here to help! You and your students can attend virtual or in-person Workday office hours, submit a help request, or call 314-935-WDAY (9329). Registration week office hours: In addition to regularly scheduled office hours, evening office hours will be available April 8-9, the week before registration. Early morning office hours will be available April 15-18 to support students when registration appointments open. See link above for times and locations.
