ASTRO & OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY IMMERSION
While camping in Moab last week, students learned about night time photography, gazed at the stars, cooked meals outdoors, and connected with each other and nature. Their work will be presented at our Fall Art Show the second weekend in November.
TESTING
Wednesday, October 25th
This morning, all students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 took the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT/NMSQT exam. Tenth grade students took the Pre-ACT exam. Prior to test day, the students attended meetings to download the testing app and review testing etiquette and expectations. When scores are released, the college counselors will meet with students to review and help them understand their results. When results become available, the college counseling office will share scores with their families. The Pre-ACT and PSATs are preparatory tests for the ACT and SAT exams, which most students will begin taking in the spring of their junior year. The PSAT/NMSQT is also the entrance test for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. Please email me if you have any questions. Mitzi Austin
