Secure funding for your green initiativesThe EnviroGrants program provides funding to individuals, community groups, businesses and organisations to undertake initiatives that protect and enhance our natural environment, and foster sustainability actions across the City of Logan. If you have an environmental project and need financial support, you can apply for up to $10,000. Applications open now.

Have your say on koala conservationQueenslanders are invited to help shape the new South East Queensland Koala Conservation Strategy 2026–2036. The discussion paper outlines four focus areas to guide a common‑sense, balanced approach to protecting this iconic species. Community feedback is open until 5pm, 15 March. THE NATION'S LARGEST COMMUNITY-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL EVENT Since 1990, more than 23 million Australians have rolled up their sleeves to help protect and restore our environment - and now it’s Logan’s turn! We’re calling on schools, businesses, community groups and locals to get outdoors and make a real impact this Clean Up Australia Day. Getting involved is easy: FREE TREES Property owners in Logan can take advantage of our Free Trees program. Bring a copy of your current rates notice to one of the collection locations and choose from a wide range of plants. Each financial year you can take 3 plants home for your garden. 14 February, 9.00am to 12.00pm: Munruben Depot KERBSIDE CLEAN-UP Kerbside clean-up helps residents dispose of large household items.
