Three of our club premiership teams were invited to participate in the Tennis Victoria State League Championships held on 29 & 30 April at Royal South Yarra, Kooyong, Melbourne Park and East Malvern.

Our Bayside mens section 9 team were accepted into the championships, won through 3 rounds to make the finals to then narrowly miss out and come runners up to Shepparton DTA 3:3:28 def EMTC 1:1:25.

Congratulations to Errol, Chris, Matt, Greg, Heath, Paul and emergencies Brad and Rajat.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a fun, social night playing tennis and having pizzas afterwards. Please bring a friend. Congratulations to our club member Alice Irvine on her recent success winning the Open Women’s Doubles and also finishing runners-up in the Junior Singles event at the Wodonga TC Labour Day tournament.

We are very excited to offer this opportunity to blind and low vision participants. This will be a social evening and will be for existing and new blind/low vision players who would like to come and try tennis under lights with our qualified Futures coaches on hand.
