What's happening in Spring at your libraryThe library has so much on offer this Spring from gardening (hello Seed library!), Health and Wellness, Live Author Talks and
mini festivals, so check out the What's on in Spring guide and see what's on offer today. Endeavour Hills Library is getting a refresh. The library will run temporarily out of the Leisure Centre just next door from Saturday 17 September. You will see the same friendly faces, just in a smaller space. All services will still be offered, just on a smaller scale. Works are due to be complete by mid October. Young Writers Short Story & Poetry Competition and the Teen Photography Competitions are running so if you are a creative or know a creative make sure you check out the details and enter. Adult Learners Week begins Thursday 1 September and we have many great programs to encourage lifelong learning, including Tech Time, English Conversation Classes, Book Groups and Writers Groups. Join us for pirate ship building, African drumming, shadow puppets, a reptile show, Carp Productions Laugh out Loud show, special themed storytimes and much much more. All library events are FREE, but be quick, this is

Loud at the libraryCalling all rowdy people! It’s time to get loud at the library! Laugh, sing, dance, stop and shout at events during this extraordinarily noisy week of Monday 26 September to Sunday 2 October. Laugh and have fun together with drumming, magic, comedy, music and more. There will be something for everyone. Click the link below to see a range of events being hosted across all libraries including the Cardinia Mobile Library. All events are free, bookings are essential.
In Conversation with Vikki PetraitisPlease join us for an exceptional evening with well-known crime writer Vikki Petraitis. Vikki has been writing true crime books for the past three decades, including her bestselling book on the Frankston serial killer called The Frankston Murders. Vikki will talk about her first foray into Fiction with her debut novel The Unbelieved which is the winner of the Allen & Unwin Crime Fiction prize for 2022. Book sales and signings will also be available

Writing Workshop: Finding Your Voice: Memoir With Clem BastowInterested in writing memoir or personal essay but not sure where to start? In this engaging workshop, author and critic Clem Bastow will show you the ropes and help you begin your writing journey. Clem Bastow is a cultural critic, screenwriter and author whose debut book, Late Bloomer (Hardie Grant Books) was published in 2021. Her work appears regularly in The Guardian and The Saturday Paper, and she has contributed chapters to numerous books including
Investigating Stranger Things (Palgrave MacMillan, 2021) and ReFocus: The Films Of Elaine May (EUP, 2019). She has taught screenwriting at University of Melbourne and short story at RMIT.
