WIN an IRB Hull for your Club Thanks to Ampol
Entries close THIS SUNDAY, 22 August 2021 - As one of SLSA’s Major National Partners, Ampol is contributing to our frontline services by giving away two (2) Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Hulls to two (2) deserving Surf Life Saving Clubs. To enter your club into the running, just tell us (in 100 words or less) why your club needs a new IRB hull. Get in quick, this competition will run from Monday 19 July 2021 until Sunday 22 August 2021, with the winners named on Monday 30 August. Good luck!
Australia Day Local Council Awards
Nominations are beginning to open for the Australia Day awards 2021. Each council has its own award guidelines and nomination process. Keep an eye out in your local council newsletter, and make sure to nominate your outstanding club members.

COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility
A reminder that volunteer patrolling members (Bronze/SRC) of SLSNSW are eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine. Visit the SLS Members Area to find out more and to download the Letter and Eligibility Declaration Form. Members do not need to be vaccinated to patrol.

Grants & Fundraising
Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.

Club Development Officer - Central Coast
The purpose of this role is to support, engage and promote Central Coast Clubs by providing assistance in the areas related to development, membership recruitment & retention, sustainability and compliance.
Beach Safety Awareness Presenter
Deliver beach safety talks and sessions to primary and secondary school students. Applicants must have their SRC or Bronze Medallion, drivers license, WWCC, own vehicle, and a passion for helping the local community.
Early Childhood Beach Safety Presenter
Deliver a brand new beach safety show to young children between the ages of 3 and 6. We urge anyone interested to apply but early childhood education experience and knowledge will be highly regarded. Training provided.
Multicultural Beach Safety Presenter
Deliver beach safety and rock fishing safety talks to community groups and diverse audiences in English and your own language both virtually and face to face. We urge anyone interested to apply but those with a strong knowledge and interest in their own culture will be highly regarded. Training provided.
Australian Lifeguard Service NSW - Recruitment Now Open!
With over 330 positions available across 90 locations, the ALS is encouraging surf lifesavers to apply as a means of offering local employment, building stronger relationships with clubs and providing opportunities for club members to develop leadership and lifesaving skills as:
