The MYM Ambassador program was launched in 2022 and aims to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity and show the many easy and affordable ways for community members to get moving.

Snap Send Solve

Springvale Snow Fest 2022

Snow Fest 2022 is a perfect opportunity for us all to reconnect with our community, promote Council services and create awareness of what we do by engaging with over 40,000 residents in a friendly and relaxed environment. 

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 31 July between 12pm-7pm at Buckingham Avenue in Springvale.

Dandenong Basketball and Volleyball Tournament 

Join Youth and Family Services for the 2022 Indoor Basketball and Volleyball Tournament.

Don't miss this great event that promises good vibes and a lot of fun. Get your friends together to compete in the 3V3 basketball tournament or the 4x4 volleyball tournament. For those willing to take on the challenge you can do the double and compete in both competitions.

The tournament is for young people aged 12-25 years who live, work, study or have a significant connection to the City of Greater Dandenong.

Looking for something to do on a Saturday morning?
Come down to Dandenong Park and Make Your Move at Dandenong Parkrun.

Parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5km community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you. Join us every Saturday morning at 8am.

Discover local groups, organisers and training with KeepActive

KeepActive - A new way for adults to keep active with local groups, organisers, trainers and coaches. You can discover or create local activity groups that suit you. Whether you are looking for a ladies-only walking group, an Indian community badminton group or a beginners tennis group, you can find a variety of local groups or create your own to suit your preferences.
 
Additionally, KeepActive also lists local organisers (like local community houses, non-profits, venues and local club social groups) to give you a choice of options to improve your fitness, increase your confidence and keep you engaged. 

For clubs, organisers, trainers or coaches, we are currently offering a free listing to advertise your social group or services on KeepActive.

Meals on Wheels Program

Greater Dandenong City Council is seeking volunteers for the Meals On Wheels program.

Council’s Meals On Wheels program relies on the kindness of volunteers to deliver meals in a contactless way to vulnerable members of our community.
Research has found that volunteering provides many benefits to a person’s physical and mental health and leads to lower rates of depression and anxiety.

Students Connect Program

The Students' Connect Program provides young people with access to free weekly tutoring and study support.

Students are invited to drop in every Tuesday during the school term for the chance to learn from experienced tutors and connect with other young people.        
Young people aged 12-20 years who live, work or study in the Noble Park area are eligible to join the program.

The quickest and easiest way to let council know is via Snap, Send, Solve.
Snap Send Solve is a free App that allows community and sporting club members to report any issues to Council.
