Fellow Arrowmen,
As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year we've had. We've made a meaningful impact through cheerful service during Inductions and workdays, and we've built stronger bonds of brotherhood through our fellowships and chapter gatherings. Our efforts this year have shown the true spirit of our Order, and we’ve proven that when we come together, we accomplish great things.
As a Lodge, we inducted 148 new members this year, majority of whom are youth. Those who attended saw outstanding participation at our Summer Ordeal and Fall Fellowship, both of which had the largest turnout in several years. Ending the year on a high note, with more youth members than we started with.
Looking ahead, I encourage you to prepare for the upcoming conclave—an exciting opportunity for fellowship, growth, and service. Let us remember the words of Kitchkinet: “The true test of leadership is not how many follow, but how many you inspire to lead.”
Let’s continue to lead with cheerful service and selfless dedication as we move forward into the future.

Have you Paid your 2024 Dues?
If you are an Active OA Member with unpaid 2024 dues, it is important that you take care of this as soon as possible. Your participation, service hours, and other vital information is not recorded with the lodge unless you are current on dues. Plus, you will miss out on vital communications as those who are not paid up on dues will not receive emails from the Lodge Master system. Each year dues are processed by Dec. 15th so we can submit our re-charter to National. This also effects how many awards we can issue, the number of Vigil Honors we can submit, and our ranking within the Order.

Conclave 2025
April 11-13, 2025
Cherokee Scout Reservation, Yanceyville, North Carolina
Join us on the weekend of April 11th through the 13th at Cherokee Scout Reservation for a weekend of fun and fellowship! Conclave is a gathering of all of the lodges in our Section where you will participate in fun activities, watch awesome shows, meet new people, fellowship with your friends, and so much more!
If this is your first Conclave, we recommend that you signup as a Delegate with our Lodge's Contingent; however, If you've been to a Conclave prior, we ask that you signup to be on staff. We need lot's of help since we are the service lodge hosting this year's Conclave.

2025 Conclave Lodge Flap
Our lodge will be hosting the Section E-8 Conclave in 2025. To prepare for this event, the following Workdays will take place at Cherokee Scout Reservation from 8am-4pm

March 15, 2025
March 29, 2025
Those that attend all day will receive one service flap with the opportunity to purchase one additional flap each workday. There will be a $5.00 charge for lunch during registration. The second, optional, special service patch will also cost $5.00 and will be available at 4 PM during these special work days. Again, you must check-in at 8 am and be present at 4 pm to receive your special patch and to have the option to purchase a second one for only $5.00.
