Dear Members,

As the newly appointed President of East Malvern Tennis Club, I would like to extend my best wishes to our members for the festive season! I look forward to working with the committee to serve you all and to continue the growth of our club over the next year and beyond. Special thanks to Ralph, Deb and all previous committee members for their dedicated service to EMTC over a long period of time.

With a passion for tennis, I eagerly anticipate continuing to foster an environment of community, growth and sportsmanship within our club. I am dedicated to listening, learning and collaborating with members to grow engagement at East Malvern. We will continue to update members on what is happening at the club throughout 2024: social events, competition and tournament tennis, and various committee working areas including our ongoing discussions with Stonnington regarding the clubhouse redevelopment.

The 2024 night Autumn season will commence the week of Monday 29 January. EMTC will have 28 night teams competing.

Our second Blind & Low Vision coaching & social night was held Monday night 11 December.

A great experience for everyone who attended with lots of happy faces after their on court session.

It's shaping up to be another fun and social tennis night with lots of players. This is a great way to meet other club members through a social hit of doubles.

Our Tennis Victoria Future Leader junior club members, Will and Blake, have been working on this major project for our club and have organised a junior tournament.
