QLDC Winter Road Report - 21 August 2023
Mōrena Queenstown Lakes,
Mother nature has sprinkled a very light dusting of snow on the Crown Range overnight. The road has been gritted and the crew will continue to monitor the conditions. Take it slow if you're driving this road today.
Otherwise, we have pretty warm temperatures again this morning with a mix of dry and damp roads across the district.
- Cardrona Valley, Hāwea and Wānaka - mostly damp roads with positive temperatures.
- Arrowtown/Whakatipu Basin - all positive temps with a mixture of dry/damp roads. Grit truck is patrolling.
- Queenstown Hill and Fernhill - please drive with caution, winter conditions exist. Grit truck is patrolling.
- Glenorchy - road warm temperatures. Grit truck is patrolling.
