That's right, we are opening a new Library Lounge, and you are invited to help celebrate!

You won't want to miss the Family Fun Day at our newest location- Clyde Township Community Centre. More details are below. We hope to see you there!

Also, we now have three new online resources free for library members!

You'll be able to take part in online, self-guided courses to learn computer coding and new languages! Look out for Languagenut, Fiero Code and LOTE4Kids from mid-February, accessible from our website.

Our Regular Programs are back!

Our regular programs are back from the 2nd of February!

From Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time and Storytime, to after-school favourites like LEGO Club, STEAM Lab, Creative Kids and Minecraft Club — there’s something for kids of all ages.

All programs are free- just remember to book in, if required.

Join us for our Term 1, 2026 sessions — we can’t wait to welcome you and your family to the library.

Children's Programs at our new Library Lounge!

Storytime and Baby Rhyme Time sessions begin at our new Clyde Township Library Lounge from Monday 16 February.

Storytime invites children aged 2–5 to enjoy songs, engaging picture books and a fun craft.

Writing Workshop: Introduction to Storytelling

Whether you’re a budding writer, aspiring speaker, or just passionate about writing, this session will help you craft an authentic narrative.

You'll learn:

Enjoy a Blind Date with a Book for Library Lovers' Day

Forget Valentine's Day- drop into any of our libraries from Friday 13 February to pick up a wrapped lucky dip book and have a cozy blind date with a mystery read to celebrate Library Lovers' Day.

The book is free and yours to keep so there's no need to check it out onto your library card.

Books will be available at all libraries until stock runs out.

STEAM Lab at
Tooradin Primary School

STEAM Lab is full of fun experiments for children who love discovering new things.

Our free sessions are perfect for fostering creativity, problem-solving, and resilience!

Please note that these sessions are open to all children, not only those who attend Tooradin Primary School.

Guardians are required to attend.

Healthy Lunchboxes

Learn how to prepare healthy plant-based lunches for work or school. 

Betty Chetcuti is an author and psychologist with a passion for cooking.

This session will include a demonstration of soup and bliss balls and of course, you'll get to have a taste!
