Dear Residents, Thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday at Homebush Vibes! it was a fantastic day full of family fun, lively performances, dancing and local eats. Thank you again to Community Bank Homebush and North Ryde (part of Bendigo Bank) for sponsoring the kids face painting – always a hit with our youngest residents! This week is National Volunteer Week, and I would like to acknowledge all the wonderful volunteers in our community! Every day there are dedicated people across the Strathfield community who volunteer their time for a number of causes, each rooted in a deep sense of compassion and giving. We’re so lucky to have them as neighbours and friends, and I thank each and every one of them. Finally, I’m excited to let you know Begnell Field is open again after extensive drainage works! This time last year the field looked more like a pond than a footy field. But after months of work, the field is a premier
sporting facility, and just in time for the winter season! Thank you to the Civil Works staff at Council for doing such a great job. You can check out other projects on the Council website.
