Revamped Be The Cure Website is Now Live!

Be The Cure is a Canadian platform that connects people with health research opportunities, including clinical trials, observational studies, and patient-partner roles. The site encourages patients, caregivers, family members, and healthy volunteers to contribute their experiences and perspectives to help advance medical research and improve healthcare outcomes across Canada.

By making it easier to find and participate in studies, Be The Cure aims to accelerate discoveries, improve treatments, and ensure research reflects the needs of the people it serves.

Key Website Advancements - Content and User Experience.

  • Simplified User Journey: The new Be the Cure site significantly improves the user experience by simplifying the journey from landing on the site to finding and joining relevant studies and educational information, with clearer navigation, stronger calls to action, and a more intuitive site structure.
  • Stronger Content Quality & Organization: This iteration also strengthens content quality and organization by replacing unclear, text-heavy pages with more focused, participant-friendly content that better explains health research, participation, and available opportunities.
  • Added Educational & Support Pages: The refreshed site introduces new educational and support pages, including Health Research Resources, FAQs, and Researchers’ Information, giving both participants and health workers easier access to the information they need.
  • AI Powered Search: The updated Find Studies experience is a major advancement, powered by AI, with a stronger search journey, functionality, and clearer study details to help users understand eligibility, recruitment status, and next steps.
  • Tailored to Alberta with Improved Relevance & SEO: The new website is tailored to Alberta audiences, with province-specific messaging, Alberta-based research content, and location and study-type landing pages designed to improve relevance, discoverability, and Search Optimization.

Overall, this iteration modernizes Be the Cure into a clearer, more credible, and more user-friendly platform, improving content relevance, standardizing navigation and Calls to Action, and creating a stronger foundation for future growth.
