PIEF Conference RecapOn 27-28 October, we were pleased to join the National conversation about injury management at the PIEF Conference 2025: EVOLVE – The Future is Now in Sydney. General Manager Rebecca Harris chaired the first panel of the Conference with her signature energy and enthusiasm, joined onstage by CEO Chris White to discuss the benefits of leading with an ‘Evolve’ mindset.

Other Conference highlights included celebrating the best of injury management industry at the PIEF Awards Gala, hands-on learning opportunities in PIEF Village, and hearing from WorkCover WA sponsored keynote speaker Dr Claire Madden.
The Conference also unveiled Good to Go, an exciting new initiative from ARPA to make return to work simpler, safer and more certain for employers. Stay tuned for the official launch for access to the full toolkit and resources!
Regional engagementWorkers who believe they have suffered noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) because of noise exposure in the workplace may lodge a claim for workers compensation. To progress a claim, the worker must undergo audiological testing conducted by an authorised audiologist. In early October, our noise team visited audiologists, workers and employers in Busselton and Australind to provide education about NIHL requirements and distribute updated resources.
