Regional engagement

Workers who believe they have suffered noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) because of noise exposure in the workplace may lodge a claim for workers compensation. To progress a claim, the worker must undergo audiological testing conducted by an authorised audiologist.

In early October, our noise team visited audiologists, workers and employers in Busselton and Australind to provide education about NIHL requirements and distribute updated resources.
