Dear friend,

It is with bittersweet feelings I am announcing my departure from Lift UP this week. While this has been a difficult decision to make, I have decided it's time for a new direction in my life. It's been an incredible experience over the last 3 and a half years working for an organization that brings community together in such a unique and impactful way. I've had the opportunity to meet some of the most interesting and incredible people- volunteers, clients, donors, and many others who have come together to fight hunger, create community, and support each other no matter what life has thrown our way. I hope to remain involved in some capacity, as this organization has been so important to me. But rest assured, Lift UP is in good hands and I am transferring the baton to CaSaundra!

Meet CaSaundra Johnson

CaSaundra Johnson is joining Lift UP as our new Development Coordinator. She comes to us with three years of experience as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Business Services at Abilene Christian University, Texas. In that role, she led the development and execution of their marketing and communications strategy, including website management, social media, and publications. In her year as the Chief of Staff to the VP & Chief Business Officer of University Services, CaSaundra served as a strategist and implementer of complex projects that made a university-wide impact, including the launch of a campus food truck. More recently, CaSaundra designed and launched a 10-day plant-based eating guide designed to help people transition to a whole-foods, plant-based diet. Throughout the hiring process, she impressed the Lift UP staff with her passion for our mission, empathy, and professionalism. Please join me in welcoming CaSaundra to the Lift UP team!
