Help transform a local waterway

Shape your future connections with the Mabel Park waterway by having your say online or at a community pop-up.

The Mabel Park Waterway Naturalisation project aims to
improve habitat quality for local species and establish community connection with the waterway. This $1.375 million project is co-funded by Logan City Council and the Australian Government.

Funding for wonderful wildlife carers 

Queensland Government have announced their next round of Community Sustainability Action grants. Funding is being made available to help support native wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release to the wild.

Individual wildlife carers can apply for grants of up to $10,000, and wildlife care organisations can apply for grants of up to $25,000.

The Yugambeh language is one of the local languages used within the City of Logan. Each month we will share a new word that you can learn. For a full list of words download the Yugambeh dictionary.

FREE TREES

Property owners in Logan can take advantage of our Free Trees program. Bring a copy of your current rates notice to one of the collection locations and choose from a wide range of plants. Each financial year you can take 3 plants home for your garden.​​
