Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite

On World Malaria Day 2025, WHO and partners are calling for revitalized efforts to accelerate progress towards malaria elimination. Under the theme “Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite,” this year’s campaign underscores the importance of national leadership and global solidarity in an increasingly complex global health landscape.

High-level roundtable: “Innovating together to end malaria”

On World Malaria Day, WHO, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the RBM Partnership to End Malaria and FIND will co-host a roundtable discussion at the Global Health Campus in Geneva, “Innovating together to end malaria.”  Malaria partners are encouraged to join the discussion either in person or virtually.

In recent years, the expanded use of dual-insecticide nets has offered fresh hope for malaria response efforts across Africa. This photo story, published ahead of World Malaria Day, highlights the research, development and scale-up of new nets – made possible through years of collaboration among countries, communities, manufacturers, funders and a range of global, regional and national partners.
