Dear Eagles,

The end of this semester marks a significant milestone, not just for you, but for me as well. As I prepare to conclude my tenure as your Vice President for Student Affairs, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the energy and passion you bring to this campus every day.

You have been an inspiration to me, and as I move on to my next chapter, I do so with immense pride in everything we have accomplished together. I have no doubt you will continue to do great things at BC and beyond!

As you head into your final exams, I encourage you to take a well-deserved break and join the Murray Center for Student Wellness’ finals relaxation event today. There will be snacks and relaxing activities waiting for you in our 4th-floor Maloney reception area. There will also be a Campus Ministry and UGBC Blessings of the Brain sunset study break this evening, see details below.

In addition to your studies, please be sure to review the Office of Residential Life Spring Closing information as you prepare to move out of the residence halls. For our Seniors and graduating Messina students, the celebration is just beginning; there are many exciting activities planned for you to enjoy with your peers as we lead up to Commencement.

On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs, congratulations to our graduates! To our returning students, we wish you a restful, restorative summer break with your friends and family and keep a look out for updates from Student Affairs as fall semester approaches!

Yours in Community,

Dr. Shawna Cooper Whitehead
Vice President for Student Affairs
