Welcome to life on the Heights!

Welcome to the start of an exciting four years at Boston College! Weeks of Welcome aims to connect you to some of the people, offices, and opportunities on campus and introduce you to the exciting, historical city of Boston before you begin classes on Monday, August 29. This email contains a few items and tasks to complete to get you set up for success when you arrive on campus.

  1. Download the free Weeks of Welcome app on your iPhone/Android to stay up to date on the schedule and activities planned for you the first few days on campus. (Please note that pre-registration is required for some events.) In the app you will also find information on move-in day, technology assistance, language placement tests, and maps to help you navigate campus. This information is also available online at www.bc.edu/wow.
     
  2. Log in to the MyBC platform, which will connect you with events, organizations, and great information about student engagement at BC.You log in using your BC credentials (BC short username email, and password).  
     
  3. Download the free CORQ app on your iPhone/Android, which connects to the event calendar from MyBC and makes accessing information easier than ever. Additionally, your event pass QR code is located on CORQ when you log in using your BC username and password. This QR code will be used to scan your attendance at Weeks of Welcome and other campus events over the next four years. Click here for step-by- step directions.

Important Reminders

All new students (first-year students and transfer students) are required to complete three modules using the GetInclusive Platform, and one module in the EVERFI platform.  Please complete these modules by Monday, 8/29. If you are in need of any assistance and/or have any additional questions, please email bcsa@bc.edu.
