FALL NORTH AMERICAN TOUR BEGINS SEPTEMBER 5
"The way redwoods and cathedrals scrape the sky, Matsson’s fingers pluck and strum his strings with a higher purpose, and his secret-weapon voice has remained a potent tool in the emotional arms race of modern music.” — MTV
Fresh on the heels of his critically acclaimed new album ‘Henry St.’, The Tallest Man On Earth aka Kristian Matsson has released two new tracks today in conjunction with the Spotify Singles program. Recorded at the Spotify Studio in Stockholm, they include a lush, string-filled version of his ‘Henry St.’ song “Looking For Love” and a soaring cover of James Blake’s “Say What You Will.” Listen to them below.

“I’ve had the luxury of meeting him a couple of times and he’s such an inspiring and warm and talented artist,” Matsson said of James Blake and why he chose to cover one of his songs. “Sometimes you need a reminder of why you do what you do and James’s live shows have always been that for me.”
Also out now is ‘Birding At Betty’s’, a new documentary that shows a behind the scenes look at the making of ‘Henry St.’ Directed by Matsson’ friend Rolf Nylinder, the film juxtaposes beautiful footage of Sweden’s verdant forest landscapes with intimate conversations backstage and on the Tallest Man tour bus; watch the tender new film and a Q&A between Matsson and Nylinder below.
