NEW: Doctors of BC Health Authority Engagement Survey Open Until October 11thThis Fall, Doctors of BC is seeking feedback from its membership regarding lived experiences with their health authority. Now in its eighth year, the Health Authority Engagement Survey plays a crucial part in helping Doctors of BC advocate for members, and supporting the work of the JCCs, and MSAs across the province. In the coming days, members will receive more information on the survey from Doctors of BC via email, and website articles. Email invitations will be sent out on September 12. Doctors of BC encourages MSA support teams and executives to share this information with their respective groups, to ensure our members have the chance to share their thoughts on this important area. By sharing their feedback, members can directly inform our work, and help Doctors of BC shape programs and policies that meet their needs in upcoming meetings with your health authority, and the Ministry of Health. Visit this webpage to access last year’s Survey Report. If you have any questions, please email surveys@doctorsofbc.ca. TIP: FEMS TricksEvery month, we will feature a timely update on how to use FEMS to your best advantage. This month we would like to share an update that we recently sent to all MSAs. As we have advised over the past few weeks, we are working on updates to the Facility Engagement Management System (FEMS) with respect to supplier claims and internal operating expenses. We appreciate all the feedback we have received and continue to work toward an acceptable solution. The challenge has proven to be more complicated than originally anticipated, adding more scope and complexity to the project than expected. Rest assured, we are working as quickly as we can to update the program and shift as much of the workflow back to administrators as we can. We have been advised by the developer that they now expect the update to the IOE workflow to be completed by the end of September and the update to the supplier claim workflow by mid-November. We will continue to keep you informed of the progress as we get updates from the developer. If you have any questions, please contact femssupport@doctorsofbc.ca TIP: PM Helpdesk Lunch and Learn LibraryThe FCE provincial office, in conjunction with the PM Helpdesk Consultant, Erica Kjekstad, have created a library document of all of the past lunch and learn sessions from 2021 and 2022.
