Changes to dutiable dealingsDue to changes made to the Duties Act 1997, several dealings lodged with NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) require duty to be assessed by Revenue NSW. The electronic versions of the Transfer Creating a Forestry Right and Transfer Creating a Profit a’ Prendre have been upgraded to enable assessment within the electronic workspace. These upgrades commence on 28 October 2023. Reminder on Model Operating Requirements 7.2 interoperability updates - consultationThe Model Operating Requirements (MOR) are an important component for establishing the electronic conveyancing interoperability framework. Considerable work has been done to update the MOR to accommodate interoperability including seeking industry input, liaising with technical experts, and carefully considering stakeholder comments (see Feedback Table for the last round of consultation).
