Changes to dutiable dealings

Due to changes made to the Duties Act 1997, several dealings lodged with NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS)  require duty to be assessed by Revenue NSW. The electronic versions of the Transfer Creating a Forestry Right and Transfer Creating a Profit a’ Prendre have been upgraded to enable assessment within the electronic workspace. These upgrades commence on 28 October 2023. For more information, please see our website.

Reminder on NSW LRS Customer Satisfaction Survey

Have your say on NSW LRS products and services by completing the annual customer survey; the survey closes on Monday, 30 October 2023. Your valuable feedback will help NSW LRS in enhancing the delivery of its products and services.

Reminder on Model Operating Requirements 7.2 interoperability updates - consultation

The Model Operating Requirements (MOR) are an important component for establishing the electronic conveyancing interoperability framework. Considerable work has been done to update the MOR to accommodate interoperability including seeking industry input, liaising with technical experts, and carefully considering stakeholder comments (see Feedback Table for the last round of consultation). Feedback on MOR Consultation Draft 7.2 is welcome by Tuesday, 31 October 2023 to chair@arnecc.gov.au.
