Duo Rescued From Overturned Boat Off Little Bay
A husband and wife are lucky to be alive after their vessel overturned off Little Bay on Sunday afternoon.
24 Hour Row for Mental Health
There’s less than two weeks to go until the 2021 24 Hour Row for Mental Fitness supporting Gotcha4Life. Over 2,000 surf club members and rowers Australia-wide are taking part in this year’s event that was postponed from August.
In a year where the focus on mental fitness is more important than ever, event organisers are excited to see the enthusiasm from so many clubs to participate and help raise money for such an important cause.
CPR Push-a-thon
Join in the CPR Push-a-thon, between now and November 19. Form a team, sign up, get sponsored and start pushing! Each push raises funds for Heart of the Nation and Restart a Heart Day. How long can your team push for?
There are incredible prizes for the top fundraisers, including an AED (valued at $2695), CPR Training Course for 12 people (valued at $1200) provided by SLSNSW, and discount accommodation vouchers at luxury hotels.

Surf Life Saving NSW COVID-19 Vaccination Survey
Last Friday, SLSNSW distributed a COVID-19 vaccination survey to every member and Nipper parent in NSW. Please encourage completion of this survey. The survey closes at 9am Monday 25 October.

2021 Bate Bay Gold
SLSNSW and Wanda SLSC will once again be holding the Bate Bay Gold, a short course endurance event. The event will take place on Saturday, 20 November 2021. Entry details will be released early next week.

Fri 19 Nov, 6:30pm - This Tomorrow Man workshop is a community supported event to increase mental health awareness and explore how we can look after ourselves, our mates and our families better.
Grants & Fundraising
Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
