From 2- 9 July we will be celebrating NAIDOC week with events across all our libraries including Indigenous Storytimes, community mural painting, fabric dyeing with native plants and cooking with bushfoods. These events are a great opportunity for both kids and adults to learn about First Nations cultures and communities across our five libraries. After encouraging 7600 children to sign up to the library earlier this year, we have decided to extend the Sid the Sloth membership drive to run until the end of 2023. Sid The Sloth Membership DriveThe Sid the Sloth Kids Membership Drive was such a great success in 2022 that we are extending it! The competition is open to children who become a Connected Library member between the 1 July and 23 December 2023. Every month we will be giving away a $100 Toymate voucher to one lucky new member. Every child will receive their very own Sid the Sloth library card. Entering is easy, drop into your local library to join or sign up online. Once you have your membership card complete this form to enter the competition.
