School Holidays, NAIDOC Week and Kids WIN!School Holidays are here, which means that there is lots to do at your local library. From 2- 9 July we will be celebrating NAIDOC week with events across all our libraries including Indigenous Storytimes, community mural painting, fabric dyeing with native plants and cooking with bushfoods. These events are a great opportunity for both kids
and adults to learn about First Nations cultures and communities across our five libraries. Click here to read more about the events on offer and book your spot. After encouraging 7600 children to sign up to the library earlier this year, we have decided to extend the Sid the Sloth membership drive to run until the end of 2023. Sign your child up to become a member and they could win a $100 Toymate voucher by putting your details into the competition entry form here. Are you as brave as mouse? Cunning as fox or wise as owl? Can you shake your tail, swing your horns and dance like a…..Gruffalo? Join us for a very special Storytime where we will be reading Julia Donaldson's timeless
classic The Gruffalo’s Child – and you can also see it brought to life on stage at Bunjil Place theatre during the school holidays (don’t worry, he’s not really scary…) See what's on here. See you at the library! Beth Luppino

The aim of this framework is to safeguard Casey’s coastal region and address the risks posed by climate change and rising sea levels. Residents are encouraged to
share what they love about Casey’s coast and identify specific locations that they perceive changes or vulnerabilities to coastal hazards, such as storm surges and rising sea levels. To share your feedback visit Casey Conversations. Consultation is open until July 13 2023.
