City-wide Grants Program

The City-wide Grants Program is once a year funding to support community organisations to deliver projects that will broadly benefit the whole of the city and its residents. 

 

 

Catchment and Citizen Science Grants Program

Closing: Sunday 31 July 2022

The Catchment & Citizen Science program allocates funding each year to foster community understanding about water catchment health and encourages community participation in activites that improve the condition of water environments across the Gold Coast.

Discretionary Grants Program


Closing: Sunday 21 August 2022

The Discretionary Grants Program allocates funds each year to support community organisations to deliver projects with a community purpose.

Community Event Grants Program

No closing date

The Community Event Grants Program allocates funding each financial year to support community organisations to deliver divisional and/or local events that are open to the public and are in the public interest.

Emergency and Extraordinary Grants Program

No closing date
The Emergency and Extraordinary Grants Program is intended to help community organisations that can demonstrate a need for emergency funding due to an unexpected cost or safety risk to the organisation.

Pride Foundation Australia Small Grants Program

 

Closing: Monday 11 July 2022

The Small Grants Program supports projects proposed by individuals, organisations or communities who would otherwise be limited by the constraints of other funding programs. The project needs to directly or indirectly assist, involve and benefit LGBTQIA+ people and promote positive social outcomes and mental health in the community.

Celebrating Multicultural Queensland Program - Multicultural Events

Closing: Wednesday 13 July 2022
Celebrating Multicultural Queensland Program - Multicultural Events is to promote intercultural connection and inclusion. Events should aim to build capacity to promote and celebrate the benefits of multiculturalism, supporting inclusive, harmonious and united communities.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grants - $100K Disaster Recovery round

Closing: Friday 15 July 2022
A new super round of Queensland largest one-off funding grants support community groups impacted by the recent natural disaster. Any group that has been impacted by a natural disaster in the last two years can apply.

 

Active Australia Innovation Challenge


Closing: Monday 18 July 2022
The Heart Foundation has grants for new innovative projects that get more people moving in schools, universities or local community groups.

Queensland Day Sponsorship Program

Closing: Wednesday 31 August 2022
The Queensland Day Sponsorship Program encourages Queenslanders to celebrate Queensland Day in a way that reflects the unique culture, heritage and aspiration of their own community.

Budget Direct Sponsorship Solved Grants

Closing: Friday 30 September 2022

Budget Direct are passionate about creating positive, caring communities. Eligible organisations can apply for sponsorships for projects and initatives of up to $5000.

The Hamer Sprout Fund

Closing: Friday 30 September 2022
Each year, the Hamer Sprout Fund considers applications from organisations that share the fund's goal to "build communities inspired to take action for sustainable future". It aims to support projects and organisations that promote innovation in environmental education, facilitate engagement in environmental action, advocate for environmental sustainability or foster collaboration between young people engaged in environmental leadership. 

RACQ Community Grants

The RACQ Foundation gives community groups, charities and sporting clubs the opportunity to rebuild after cyclones, severe storms, bushfires and droughts.

The Star Gold Coast

Australian Communities Foundation Grants

The Australian Communities Foundation hosts a funding proposal portal which allows community organisations to submit their proposal for the donor community to identify grant opportunities that align with their interests.
