Gender Metrics at 18-ICML

We’ve been actively collecting data on gender representation at the 18th ICML. We are proud to share that women’s participation—as session chairs, symposium speakers, and abstract presenters—has significantly increased compared with previous meetings. While we recognize there is still progress to be made, these encouraging trends mark important steps toward gender equity in hematology conferences.

Spotlight on our global WiL Members
In upcoming newsletters, we would like to feature YOU, our global WiL members, to celebrate your achievements. If you or a colleague would like to be highlighted, please contact us at wil@lymphoma.org.au with a short bio, a summary of achievements, and a photo.

For the first edition of the WiL Spotlight we decided to celebrate two very accomplished women in lymphoma!

Our mission is to support and advocate for female lymphoma clinicians, researchers and educators worldwide and to advocate for their leadership and representation in all aspects of the field, promote career development, empower female voices, and work to address gender disparities in the field of lymphoma.

We want to expand our global community and overcome barriers to gender inequity.

Today we have a Steering Committee of 26 members from 12 countries, including 6 New Emerging WiL members, 18 Sub Committee members, all who contribute to creating and realising our events and initiatives.
