Right now, we've got two fantastic projects up and running: 1. Employment Hub: Employment support for job seekers along their career journeys to find meaningful employment. Employment Hub offers individualized support for each participant to help them work towards their unique goals and interests. We can support with a wide range of things including, resume, cover letter, interview preparation, workshops, Australian workplace culture, English language and more. Everyone is welcome to join the program, including Australians, Permanent Residents, New Zealanders, migrants, international students, and refugees. 2. Training Hub: Train 2 Care is a supportive training free for eligible participants and with discount for non-eligible participants. It is designed to assist participants in successfully completing their courses and entering to the workforce in a variety of fields, such as the Aged Care Industry and Disability Industry. All our programs are Funded by QLD Government. Limited capacity, register in the link below NEXT INTAKE IN OCTOBER 2024 Funding for the Training Hub program has been approved for 2024-2025 by Skilling Queenslander Workforce (SQW) and the Queensland Government. The program offers a free Certificate III in Individual Support to eligible participants, with discounts available for non-eligible individuals. It aims to help participants enter fields like Aged Care and Disability Industries. Additionally, it supports those returning to work, improving communication skills, changing careers, or developing career plans.
On average, 80% of participants from each group secure employment after completing their training through the Training Hub program. They were excited about the celebration organized in their honor, and a few family members joined to support and praise them. MCCGC staff from various programs were also present. The event was graced by MCCGC CEO Shane Klintworth and QLD Officer Gary Bryant, affectionately called "Mister Government" by of one of the graduates, during her heartfelt speech thanking the Training Hub Team and sharing her feedback on the course. Each graduate wore gowns and mortarboard caps, proudly receiving their Cert III in Individual Support certificate along with a lovely white rose. A delicious breakfast was also provided for the graduates and their guests to enjoy in the morning.
