Gold Coast Weekly | Issue #43 | Our Beaches

What kind of beachgoer are you? Let us know in the annual Our Beaches survey.

Issue #43: In this week's edition, we're inviting you to share how you enjoy our beaches and what improvements we could make to them, connecting you with ways you can get back to nature through volunteering, as well as reminding young Gold Coast artists of our Level Up Studio Spaces applications for 2022.

Have your say on our beaches

Have your say on our beaches

We know Gold Coasters are passionate about our beaches, and so are we.

Every year we turn to the community to find out which beaches they visit, what activities they do when they’re there, and how we’re doing at maintaining our beaches.

This year, we would also like to understand your thoughts around temporary activities on the beach - such as events, hire of beach equipment and food vendors.

Spare a few minutes and let us know what you love about our beaches and/or areas we can approve. By completing the survey, you can go into a draw to win one of three Eftpos gift vouchers (1st place $500, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100).

Share your feedback and complete the survey online at GC Have Your Say before 5 December 2021 to help us prioritise works that will keep our beaches clean, safe and accessible for everyone.

Protect, restore & enhance our natural areas

Protect, restore & enhance our natural areas

Are you interested in protecting and restoring our natural environment? Our Beaches to Bushland Volunteer Landcare program is your opportunity to connect with nature and meet other passionate community members.

Each year, our volunteers assist in planting over 60,000 native trees in our natural landscapes across the Gold Coast. Join us to help regenerate our bushland areas by taking part in a community tree planting day or joining a Bushcare or Landcare group.

Visit our City Events calendar or download the Beaches to Bushland six-monthly calendar and register for an upcoming tree planting activity.
