Celebrating LTAP
40 Years!Trinette Ballard, FHWA December 23, 1981 is a historical moment in time for the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). It was the day then President Ronald Reagan signed a bill into law that officially established the Rural Technical Assistance Program (RTAP). Read More Here

Connecticut’s Traffic Signal Technician Certificate Program

The Connecticut T2 Center recently added a Traffic Signal Technician Certificate Program to its list of offerings. The program consists of a series of workshops designed to provide Connecticut’s municipal traffic signal personnel with knowledge of the fundamentals of traffic signal maintenance and operations procedures and techniques. Mid-Atlantic Region Roadway Management Conference

Roadway Management Conference Was a Big Hit in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware! The Mid-Atlantic Region (PA, WV, MD, VA, DE) was back in person October 6-8 with the Roadway Management Conference, this time in Rehoboth Beach. The annual conference, optimized to operations and maintenance personnel, was recently held in Gettysburg, PA and then Ellicott City, MD, but our plans for Charlottesville had to go virtual in 2020 and the Virginia team switched gears on a dime for a great success. We rolled the dice for 2021 and caught a break on the weather, the pandemic, and well, everything. It was another great success, according to the many attendees that patted us on the back throughout the conference. Read More Here
National Highway Institute’s (NHI) Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges
Matt Carter, Delaware LTAP Hosting the National Highway Institute’s (NHI) Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (130055) as a technical elective at the University of Delaware has been a hit in the past and the Delaware T2/LTAP Center’s Rusty Lee has teamed up with NHI again to bring it back for Winter Session 2022.
