The Feather - October 2025 No images? Click here ![]() To My Fellow Arrowmen, This past weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation, we had our incredible superhero themed (and 30th anniversary) Fall Fellowship! There, we concluded our Lodge season with our annual banquet, where we recognized some of our amazing Arrowmen who do so much for our Lodge; I also had the honor and privilege to swear in our 2026 Officers! Though our Lodge season is winding down, there are still opportunities to give back in service. This upcoming weekend and the next, CSR will be hosting Cub Howl-O-Ree (October 9-11 & 16-18,) and in November the AOL Trailhead event (November 13-14.) These are great ways to get some service hours, as well as promote our Lodge to everyone in the council. I hope everyone has an amazing fall season, and a very Happy Halloween! “Thus do you appear to others on the path of cheerful service.” ~Kichkinet Yours in Brotherhood, Aubreigh McPhail

The weekend format is designed to complement the longer, more detailed Wood Badge and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) Programs. Near the end of the seminar, learners make a contract with themselves to apply the skills studied in the seminar on projects in their lodge, council, and community.
