FriendshipsOur Years 7 and 8 students recently attended a presentation by Mindset Coach, Claire Eaton. This presentation continued to focus on the friendship work that Claire has previously done with the cohorts. She encouraged students to be kind and curious about making friends, with her three top tips being: - Showing up as your best
- Being kind to yourself and to
others
- Thinking curiously
More detailed information about the presentation has been sent via the PLC App to parents in Years 7 and 8. Claire encouraged students who were looking for more information to visit her website at www.claireeaton.com.au. Further helpful information and resources can be found in her Pep Talks, accessible via the button below.
Media Excursion to Murdoch UniversityThis week, our Year 10 Media students attended an excursion at Murdoch University. In contributing to students' learning, the excursion provided the opportunity to further develop visual storytelling skills. With on-location filming and post-production editing workshops, it was a great opportunity for students to progress their knowledge, and get a glimpse into Murdoch’s Media courses.
Kind regards, Rebecca Watts
Head of Senior School
Years 11 and Year 12 ExaminationsOur Years 11 and 12 examinations and work experience involvements will continue throughout Week 3. For the students sitting examinations, these often finish after the school day, therefore, we ask that parents who are using the McNeil Street Slipway please keep any noise down to allow our students in the building to focus. If your daughter is sitting an examination, please ensure she has read the examination schedule carefully and that she arrives with plenty of time for her examination.
