ASC students take on airport emergency Armidale Secondary College drama students ensured that emergency services staff and volunteers undertaking last week’s field exercise at Armidale Regional Airport were immersed in some very realistic emergency scenarios! The young actors were impressive as they took on various roles to replicate possible accident and emergency scenes. The full field Emergency Exercise held involved Fire and Rescue NSW, the NSW Police, NSW Ambulance Service, SES, RFS and other emergency services It is a requirement by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) every 2 years to ensure our emergency services are familiar with the airport, it’s procedures and hazards. It is also a great refresher for everyone should a real incident occur! Thank you Armidale Secondary College and everyone involved!
Autumn Festival Global Gathering The energy was electric at the Civic Park during the Armidale Autumn Festival! There was so much colour and community spirit.
