QLDC Winter Road Report - 9 July 2023Good morning, Another chilly start, although that's not unexpected given the season we're in! The road surfaces are dry across the district today, and the CMA sprayed onto many of the surfaces to help stop ice forming is working well. If you're heading up over the Crown Range, take care and look out for areas of loose grit. It's pretty frosty out Arthurs Point way. Grit has been applied and further ice may form at day break. Same goes for Fernhill and on Glenorchy Road. I'm told there's a bit of fog about in Wānaka so make sure those lights are on low-beam. Right, that's a wrap from me this week. Sam will be dutifully setting his alarm for tomorrow morning to take the road reporting reins. May your Sunday be relaxing - enjoy. Rebecca
