Issue #9: In this week's edition, we're set to go orange for Harmony Week in celebration of cultural diversity, learn how you can become a Landcare legend and vibe along to live and local music and yummy treats as CBD Sundown returns.

We're glowing orange for Harmony Week

We're glowing orange for Harmony Week

It's Harmony Week from 18-24 March, an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate cultural diversity in our city.

To celebrate, the following Gold Coast landmarks will turn orange on 21 March:

  • HOTA outdoor stage
  • Isle of Capri Bridge
  • Broadbeach sign
  • Surfers Paradise sign

With nearly one in three Gold Coast residents born overseas, our city is one of the most culturally diverse in Queensland.

We're creating better access to City services and resources for all residents and visitors. Learn more about opportunities and events for our culturally diverse residents.

Become a Landcare legend

Become a Landcare legend

With the help of our community, we plant up to 60,000 native trees a year to protect, restore and enhance our natural areas.

Meet like-minded people and make a difference in our natural environment by getting involved with our NaturallyGC Landcare and Junior Landcare tree planting events.

Events are family-friendly, and holes are pre-dug making it light work for planting.

Become a NaturallyGC Landcare volunteer and help plant native trees across the Gold Coast this year.
