Join us for an afternoon filled with a NEW PUMPKIN PLUNGE (see info below), free treats, thrilling games, lively music, and an open swim featuring a diving board, water walk, and other exciting water activities. See below for a timeline of the fun and exciting events we have planned for this year! Note there will be no pre-registration for the swim this year. All attendance is first-come, first-served. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LAP AND FAMILY SWIMMERS: The pool will close at 12:30pm on Saturday, October 18 to setup this event. Event check-in starts at 12:45 pm. OVERFLOW PARKING: Overflow parking is available at Mount Rainier High School, which is next to the pool. Please do not park in front of residences. Fees per Person: $3/Swimmer We hope to see you at this year’s event. Join us for a fun swim, games and giveaways! ![]() NEW PUMPKIN PLUNGEThis year we will be bringing back the Pumpkin Plunge with a new format! Small plastic pumpkins will be placed at the bottom of the pool for ages 7 and older, while the pumpkins will float for ages 6 & under. Each pumpkin will have a number that can be turned in for a prize.
TRICK OR TREAT PATHCome join us for the 2025 Trick or Treat Path in downtown Des Moines on Friday, October 31 between 4:30 and 6:30pm. We will be giving away ducks, snacks and our Swim Lesson Coordinator will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
