Applications Open for BRP Equipment Grant 2023/24

Applications for the 2023/24 BRP Equipment Grant are now open!

Clubs that are successful in their applications will receive heavily subsidised BRP Sea-Doos and Can-Ams for their lifesaving operations.

To apply, download the 2023/24 BRP Equipment Grant circulars on the SLS Members Area and fill out the forms before Wednesday, 7 February.

Rainbow Beaches this Summer 2024

In the coming weeks, surf clubs across the state will be hosting Rainbow Beaches events. Happening on days throughout Feb 16th to March 3rd, these Rainbow Beach events will feature a variety of activities to showcase that Surf Life Saving is for everyone and everyone is welcome at the beach.

Grants & Fundraising

 

Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.

The Surf Life Saving Foundation has made fundraising for Clubs a whole lot easier! Your club can have its own dedicated Lottery web landing page and receive 50% commission on all tickets sold through it. ASC Local Sporting Champions Program 2023-24

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Local Sporting Champions Program 2023-24 Rd 3 is currently open, closing 31 January 2024. This program is designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12-18 years participating in state, national or international level sporting championships, as either an athlete, coach, umpire or referee.

The NSW Office of Sport Surf Club Facility Program is now open, with categories 2 and 3 closing 31 January 2024. This program assists NSW Surf Life Saving clubs to develop facilities that will enable increased participation, increased use of facilities by other community groups and/or the public, improved safety and improved financial and/or sustainability.
